We believe working with audio should be approachable, rights-aware, and creative. A producer should be able to complete one clear task without installing a plugin or learning a complicated studio, then move the result into the next step when the project calls for it. Selekt combines that ease with source transparency instead of asking creators to trust a label alone.
Two Ways to Use Selekt
Use it like a sample library. That's what it is: 100K+ samples, stems, loops, recordings, and sound effects from CC0, public-domain, and CC-BY sources. Catalog candidates are fingerprint-screened against a database of 150M+ commercial recordings; if the screen returns a match at any confidence level, Selekt withholds the file. Browse by genre, key, and BPM. Every eligible download includes a signed certificate recording its named source, license, screening result, and any attribution requirement.
Or open it up. Every track on Selekt is enriched far past the file you download — separated into stems, transcribed to MIDI and notation, chord-mapped, sliced into one-shots. Upload your own track and the Workshop gives your music the same treatment. Once both sides speak the same format, they combine: re-skin your drum groove with cleared instruments, spin one of your stems against thousands of cleared parts, blend catalog stems into your session. The certificate follows the combination.
