Every sample is sourced from CC0, public domain, or CC-BY contributors (Library of Congress, Citizen DJ, Freesound, Internet Archive, Musopen) with verified upstream licenses. Every sample is pre-analyzed by AI for key, BPM, genre, mood, and instrumentation. Every download includes a license certificate (PDF) showing source, license type, and any attribution required. Samples ingested from less-authoritative sources also get a fingerprint screening section on the certificate. Plus our free copyright-check tool screens any audio (including a finished mix) against an industry-standard database of 150M+ commercial recordings — built for commercial release.

Or open it up. Every track on Selekt is enriched far past the file you download — separated into stems, transcribed to MIDI and notation, chord-mapped, sliced into one-shots. Upload your own track and the Workshop gives your music the same treatment. Once both sides speak the same format, they combine: re-skin your drum groove with cleared instruments, spin one of your stems against thousands of cleared parts, blend catalog stems into your session. The certificate follows the combination.
