The sounds
Loops, full recordings, sound effects, textures, one-shots, and available instrument stems—from named public-domain, CC0, and CC BY sources. Search by genre, mood, instrument, key, tempo, license, and more.
Some sounds also include MIDI, chord maps, notation, or drum one-shots. Check the deliverables on each sound; not every recording has every format.

The source matters
“Cleared” should mean more than a label. Selekt records where a catalog sound came from, its license, and the screening path used. Open-upload and archive material is fingerprint-screened; a match at any confidence level means it is withheld, even when that match might be harmless. Qualifying public-domain collections can instead be verified through documented source authority and date eligibility.
Eligible catalog downloads include a signed, tamper-evident certificate so you—or a collaborator—can revisit the evidence. CC BY sounds still require attribution. Screening helps you investigate risk; it does not promise that a platform will never raise a claim.

Catalog sounds come from named public-domain, CC0, and CC BY sources. Selekt records the source, license, and the clearance-screening path used. Fingerprint-screened material is withheld if a match is returned at any confidence level; qualifying public-domain collections can follow a documented source-authority path. Each eligible catalog download includes verifiable evidence. Screening and certificates are not a legal guarantee, and CC BY attribution requirements still apply.
