- Sourced from named, verified sources. Public domain, CC0, and CC-BY — from Freesound, the Library of Congress / Citizen DJ, Internet Archive, and Musopen. Not anonymous “royalty-free” uploads.

The exception is recordings from before 1926, which are public domain by age — there the evidence is the documented source and date rather than a fingerprint match.

How do you isolate saxophone from recordings?
A deeper, multi-stage process: a first pass isolates the broad instrument groups, then a second, specialized pass lifts the wind instruments out on their own. Result: a usable sax stem with most of the band removed.

Can you isolate sax separately from trumpet on a track with both?
Currently no — wind instruments are extracted as a group, so a track with both sax and trumpet will have them in the same stem. We are working on per-instrument wind separation in future pipeline updates as the underlying models improve.
