Upload the finished song
Start with an MP3, WAV, M4A, or AAC file. An isolated vocal or typed lyric sheet is not required. Selekt temporarily uploads the song for lyric transcription.
AI-ASSISTED LYRICS · YOUR CREATIVE CONTROL
The hard part is getting the words in time. Selekt uses AI to give you a starting transcription, then lets you fix it, choose the visual style, and make as many versions as you want.
Pay once for the song’s timed lyrics. Every edit, vertical or YouTube render, and download after that is free.
YOUR SONG + TIMED WORDS + YOUR LOOKPLAY BEFORE YOU UPLOAD
This 21-second example uses a finished song with the vocals and music together. The words were timed, reviewed, and rendered over a still background—the same kind of result you can make with your own song.

WHAT THE AI DOES · WHAT YOU DO
Start with an MP3, WAV, M4A, or AAC file. An isolated vocal or typed lyric sheet is not required. Selekt temporarily uploads the song for lyric transcription.
AudioShake analyzes the song and returns words with timestamps. Listen to each line, correct names or slang, and check fast or layered vocals before making a video.
Pick one of the included still-artwork presets or upload your own image, including art you generated elsewhere. Set the regular and highlighted word colors.
Selekt combines your song, reviewed timing, artwork, and word highlights into a vertical or widescreen MP4 in your browser. Edits, rerenders, and downloads for those timed lyrics do not use more credits.
THE TIMING ENGINE
Selekt sends your uploaded song to AudioShake for lyric alignment. It returns word-level timing, which the editor groups into lines. This works from a finished mix, so you do not need to separate the vocal first. Music can still make names, slang, or layered singing harder to hear—review the words while listening before you render.
Correct a line without leaving the editor. You can download a lyrics TXT or timed SRT file too. The original uploaded audio is removed after transcription; the timed lyrics are kept in your account for later edits and free rerenders.

Play the line, change a word, keep its timing.ARTWORK & RENDERING
Choose from the included still-artwork gallery or upload a cover image you made yourself—including an image generated in your favorite AI art tool. The editor does not currently create a new image from a text prompt. For readable lyrics, choose art with clear space near the center and test both regular and highlighted word colors against it.
When you press Render, your browser combines the image, timed words, and original song into an MP4. Choose vertical for Reels or TikTok, or widescreen for YouTube. This render does not go back to AudioShake or charge another transcription fee.

MAKE YOUR OWN · SAME FULL TOOL
Use the lyric video maker right here. Start with your song, review the transcription price, correct the lyrics, choose the look, and render both formats.
Upload your song, see its transcription price before you pay, and shape the result in the real editor. No subscription is required for a credit pack.
AI helps transcribe and time the words. You check the lyrics and choose the look; Selekt then renders the lyrics over a still image with your song. This is not a text-to-video model that invents moving scenes.
Yes. You can upload a still image made in another image-generation tool, or choose one of Selekt’s included artwork presets. Creating a fresh image from a text prompt inside this tool is not available yet.
Edit each lyric line before rendering. Keeping the same number of words preserves the original word positions; adding or removing words redistributes their timing across that line. You can listen and rerender until it looks right.
Timed-lyric transcription costs 0.5 credits per started minute of audio. After that, editing the lyrics or artwork and rendering more versions of the same project is free.
No. This tool uses credits from a paid Early Access membership or a purchased credit pack. A pack works during a trial, but the trial grant itself is not eligible. Once lyrics are timed, edits and rerenders are free.
Your timed lyrics are saved to your account and appear in My Library. The source audio and finished MP4 are not stored there; to render again, reopen the project and choose the same original audio file.
