Can I isolate the piano from a song?
Yes, when the model detects piano in the recording. Selekt returns it as a dedicated audio stem alongside the other detected instruments.
Can I convert the extracted piano to MIDI?
Yes. Complete transcribes detected melodic stems, including piano, to expressive MIDI so you can edit or revoice the notes in a DAW.
Does it create piano sheet music?
Complete also exports editable MusicXML. Open that file in a compatible notation app such as MuseScore, Sibelius, or Dorico, then review and correct the transcription as needed.
What happens if the song has no piano?
Selekt returns every part it detects rather than inventing a piano stem. If piano is absent or too buried to identify confidently, that lane may be missing or contain very little usable audio.
Is a piano extractor the same as a piano-to-MIDI converter?
Not exactly. Extraction first separates piano from a full mix; transcription then converts the isolated performance into notes. Doing both is more useful than sending a dense full song directly into a piano-to-MIDI converter.
How much does the complete piano result cost?
