How to tune vocals without changing the beat
Some tuners process the entire song file, including its music. Here, a finished mix is separated first and the pitch correction is applied only to the vocal. The extracted instrumental is not pitch-shifted. You can hear the new vocal by itself, then compare it over the music.
1. Hear the prepared song or upload yours
Compare the original and gently tuned demo immediately. A dry, isolated vocal is the cleanest input. If you only have a finished mix, sign in and let Selekt separate its vocal and instrumental first.
2. Choose a light starting point
Select Very Light Correction or Natural Pop Polish. Confirm the song key and scale, then adjust snap speed, note lock, held-note movement, and small-deviation tolerance in plain English.
3. Check the vocal against the beat
Play the vocal-only versions to hear the correction clearly, then switch to the song preview to hear the result over the separated instrumental. The instrumental is not run through the pitch tuner.
4. Review before downloading

Questions about natural vocal tuning
Can I tune just the vocals in a song without changing the beat?
Yes. Selekt separates the vocal from a finished mix, applies pitch correction only to that vocal, and places it back over the separated instrumental for comparison. The instrumental is not pitch-processed. As with any source separation, the separated tracks may contain artifacts.
What if I already have an isolated vocal?
Upload the vocal-only file directly. It does not need separation, and you can compare the original performance with the gently tuned preview.
How do I keep the tuning natural?
Start with Very Light Correction or Natural Pop Polish, confirm the correct key, and keep enough held-note movement and small-deviation tolerance to preserve expression. Faster snap and stronger note lock make the effect more noticeable.
Can I hear my song before using credits?
Yes. The prepared demo plays without an upload, and you can hear short previews of your own recording before paying. A full-song upload requires an account for cloud separation; the full-length WAV pack costs 0.5 credits after review.
What files will I get?
The pack includes the naturally tuned vocal and original isolated vocal. For a finished-song upload, it also includes the separated instrumental, tuned vocal mixed with music, and your original full mix.
