Can I remove vocals from a song online?
Yes. Upload an MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A, or OGG and Selekt separates the vocal from the instrumental in the browser workflow. The processing itself runs on a private cloud GPU.
Will I get an acapella and an instrumental?
When vocals are detected, the separated vocal is the acapella and the non-vocal output is the instrumental. Complete can also return the song’s other detected instruments as individual stems.
Is this only a two-stem vocal remover?
No. Vocal and instrumental are the fast outcome, but the same run can return up to 16 detected stems, including drums, bass, guitar, piano, woodwinds, other instruments, and individual drum parts.
How much does vocal removal cost?
Stems Only and Complete each cost 0.5 credit per track. Complete includes MIDI, MusicXML, chords, key, BPM, and drum one-shots when available. A free trial includes credits so eligible users can try it.
How long can I download my results?
Stem-separation results remain downloadable for 48 hours. Save the files you need within that window; the result also appears in your private Studio Results area while it is available.
Does Selekt keep or claim my music?
No. Uploads remain private to your account, are processed for the requested job, and are automatically deleted on the result lifecycle. Selekt does not claim ownership or grant rights to uploaded content.
