MP3 to chords
you can work with.
Have an MP3 of your own song or a recording you are allowed to process? Upload it to estimate the chord changes by time. Read the chart, then take a PDF guide and editable chord MIDI into your music software.
Start with your audioBring in your track
Choose an MP3 of a full song or a clean instrument recording. A busy mix can hide or blur chords; a clearer recording gives the estimate a better chance. For WAV, FLAC, M4A, or OGG, use the full Song to Chords tool.
Choosing a file is free. Analyzing it runs the full Complete processing job—including stem separation—so you need a signed-in account with 0.5 credit available. The credit is charged when processing starts. You can then view your result and download its available chord and Complete files without another charge.
MP3 full-song demo
Play a prepared full mix, then look at the kind of simplified chord sequence this workflow estimates. These labels were prepared in advance, not analyzed from your upload, and should be checked by ear. Your own full-song analysis also runs the Complete stem workflow. Demo audio credits and source licenses.
Chord timeline
Your export stands on its own. The matching workspace below is optional.
Your MP3 chord timeline and available export files will appear here after analysis.
What comes out of an MP3?
A chord map, not the original performance
The timeline estimates major and minor harmony at points in the recording. The chord MIDI places those estimated chords on a piano roll so you can change voicings, timing, or sounds. It does not recover every note played in the MP3.
Want notes from a particular instrument?
That is a different job. MP3 to MIDI can separate a full track and transcribe supported parts. Use this page when you want the harmonic outline first; use MIDI transcription when you want a part to edit.
Check the uncertain moments
Compressed audio and overlapping instruments can mask chord changes. Treat the PDF and MIDI as an editable starting point, then listen back before arranging, teaching, or publishing from them.
Build around your chords
Your chord guide stands on its own. You can reopen this result here or in Studio Results while it is retained. To analyze a full mix and audition cleared catalog sounds around its progression, use Song to Chords.
